Job Hunting? Here’s What Recruiters Really Think About AI-Generated Profile Photos

We live in a world where digital connections are what makes our world go round.  Employers are often finding your digital blueprint before you even come in for an interview.  This is why so many people talk about having a decent social media preference and to behave online because job employers everywhere are starting to look at your online presence before scheduling an interview with you.

This means that most employers are getting to know you before they even speak to you.  With the rise of AI headshots, job seekers are starting to consider how they feel about artificial intelligence creating studio style photographs for those they’re looking to hire.  Using a program like this allows you to put a  professional looking photograph on your resume or portfolio page. We want to talk about what recruiters really think about your AI headshot photographs.

Most recruiters feel the AI headshots are not really a deal breaker or really a guaranteed advantage over someone who uses their average selfie for their portfolio or social media profile photograph. Most recruiters simply want you to have a professional clean photograph so that they can get a sense of your demeanor and what their customers would see, especially if you’re applying for a job where you work with customers.

When artificial intelligence starts making you look like a fake human, that is when recruiters will shy away from scheduling an interview with you.  Using AI headshots to adjust your appearance to the point of looking like a humanoid is a red flag for some recruiters and they won’t  likely be the ones to reach out to you if you have  a photograph that looks more humanoid than realistic.

With so many people applying for jobs these days, recruiters are going to make a list based on people who have a forward presentation that makes sense for the job that they’re applying for.  While most recruiters aren’t going to judge you just on your appearance. It is a first impression and with so many First Impressions happening in the digital environment it’s imperative that your portfolio photograph resembles the real you so the recruiters know what to think of you when you first look at your resume.

Depending upon the type of job you’re applying for this is going to be an imperative step for recruiters.  Some jobs may have requirements for business casual wear and others may need a specific appearance for the job position.  Most recruiters feel that there is a difference between being polished and being deceptive about your appearance.

The key to getting a recruiter’s attention is to make sure your photograph looks more polished and professional rather than overfiltered or dulled down to the point where you look as though you had cosmetic surgery to get the photograph done just right.  The key is to use AI headshot programs to mimic what a professional photographer would do.

This artificial intelligence program allows you to harness the power of a professional photograph without the high ticket cost so it’s best if you use it in that manner so that recruiters recognize you as a professional looking well presented person who is realistic.

Since digital portfolios are the norm these days you want to use this type of program to just help you stand out from the pack.  This could be something as simple as having a background that makes your face still Expressions pop and making sure that you’re smiling and looking friendly in your photograph with the color closing you’re wearing and the filter option you use.  Not only that, AI headshots software allows you to remove blemishes and smooth out imperfections in your face so that you have a realistic yet professional appearance to draw in those recruiters seeking to fill various job position openings.

When it comes to using artificial intelligence as a means to make yourself look better it’s really just important that recruiters see the real you.  We understand that you want the photograph to look professional and there’s nothing wrong with that. That’s why I had shot programs that are so wonderful they allow the average person to gain access to the quality of work they would have otherwise needed to hire a professional photographer to do.

Today we are often engaging in the digital environment before we ever sit face to face in real life.  This concept applies to all areas of our lives including those who are out there seeking job opportunities.  With more and more employers hiring recruiters to find the best picked candidates for their positions it’s imperative that you utilize all of the software available to put your best face forward.

Along with using AI headshot programs to put your best facial features forward, you will want to also feature your skills in a way that catches the attention of these job recruiters so that you can be among the top few that are chosen to go to the next step, an in person interview.
