Where the Louisiana refineries are
- The Mississippi River corridor: between Baton Rouge and New Orleans are ExxonMobil Baton Rouge, Marathon Garyville, Shell Norco, Valero St. Charles and Meraux, PBF Chalmette and Placid in Port Allen. The river gives them access to crude by tanker and barge.
- Lake Charles: 3 refineries with about 0.9 million barrels per day, led by Citgo’s Lake Charles refinery and Phillips 66 in Westlake.
- North and central Louisiana: Calumet in Shreveport, Cotton Valley and Princeton, and Delek in Krotz Springs.
