Apollo Technical has an immediate need for a Controls engineer in the Forest City, NC area
Responsibilities:
• Work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, and adhere to safe work practices in a
continuous improvement environment
• Design machine control systems including specification of devices as well as producing
wiring schematics
• Develop control strategies and specify the operation of the equipment with various team
members
• Program and test machine to execute process
• Program/design HMIs for use by machine operators
• Design machine safety systems to meet all relevant safety standards and work with safety
manager to certify each part of the system
Proficiencies:
• Rockwell ControlLogix
• Fanuc Robots
• Yaskawa drives and MP3300 PLCs
• Red Lion HMIs
• AutoCAD or Draftsight
• Familiarity with GE PLCs is a plus but not a requirement
• Familiarity with Keyence and Cognex vision systems is a plus but not a requirement
Education:
• A four-year engineering degree is preferred, however experience can substitute
