## Description

Apollo Technical has a immediate need for a electrical designer in the NW Houston TX area

Prepares electrical drawings, layouts, and technical documents that turn project requirements into a buildable package. Works with engineering, project management, and other disciplines on design packages for construction, manufacturing, or installation.




**Responsibilities**





- Produce schematics, wiring diagrams, and 2D equipment layouts.

- Confirm drawings meet internal standards, applicable electrical codes, and customer requirements.

- Incorporate approved supplier data, and revise drawings from engineering markups and customer comments.

- Keep drawing standards, templates, symbol libraries, and revision logs current.

- Coordinate with engineering and production so packages are practical to build and wire.


**Qualifications**





- 2–3 years originating electrical drawings in AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent, including equipment layouts and wiring diagrams.

- Formal drafting or electrical design training. An electrical engineering degree is a plus, not required.

- Working knowledge of electrical symbols, schematics, industrial control standards, and basic electrical calculations. 

- Hazardous-location design experience is a plus.

- Familiar with power distribution, motor controls, PLC layouts, and instrumentation diagrams.

- Able to manage several projects and deadlines, and to document work accurately.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
